St. Albert the Great Raises $3,500 for Carole’s Kitchen

Carole’s Kitchen is incredibly grateful to the students and families of St. Albert the Great for their generous support through this year’s Free Throws for Full Plates fundraiser.

The 5th–8th grade basketball teams came together to raise funds to help fight youth hunger in Louisville, culminating in a special moment when the 8A boys team presented a $3,500 check to Carole’s Kitchen.

This incredible gift will help provide meals to children in our community who need them most.

Carole’s Kitchen has many ties to current St. Albert families, making this partnership especially meaningful. Seeing students step up to make a difference for other children in our area is a powerful reminder that compassion and leadership start young.

Founded in 2009 in loving memory of Carole Watson Crawford and her daughter, Meghan, whose lives were tragically cut short in an accident, Carole’s Kitchen began as a tribute to their legacy. What started as remembrance has grown into a movement — one committed to fighting hunger and supporting students across Louisville.

We are so thankful for the generosity, energy, and heart shown by the St. Albert community.

💛 Thank you to every student, coach, and family member who supported this project. Your free throws are helping fill plates across Louisville.
